After months of anticipation, on Saturday 15 October we welcomed over 2000 people from across the Cranbrook community to lluminate: the official opening of our revitalised Senior School buildings. The excitement was palpable as families and friends of the School streamed through the Hordern Oval gates on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
These new buildings are significant not just in terms of their visual appeal but, as a direct reflection of our School’s ethos, they are the result of true collaboration. The architecture has been informed by extensive research into how physical learning environments can encourage collaboration through spatial diversity to encourage greater communication and extended opportunities for learning, providing world class, well-rounded education to all our Cranbrookians, today and into the future.
These buildings connect us to place and to people, and reflecting the global outlook of Cranbrook, face the Heads, creating and empowering our students as global citizens of tomorrow.
