International Families

Our Boarding staff have considerable experience in working with boys who are thousands of kilometres from home, to ensure that they can make the very most of what Cranbrook has to offer.

Cranbrook prides itself on the level of care and service it provides to international and expat families. In recent years, our Boarding Community, in addition to Australian boys, has comprised of students from China, London, Hong Kong, USA, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, The Bahamas, Japan and Thailand. Senior staff within the School make an annual visit to various centres in South East Asia to keep in touch with current families and interview new applicants.

The School operates under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (Cth) and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 (Cth) which is a set of consistent standards that govern the protection of overseas students and delivery of courses to those students by providers registered on The Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

Cranbrook is an approved provider to deliver courses to overseas students and Cranbrook’s CRICOS registration number is 02298E.

The School liaises with the family of overseas students directly and does not deal with agencies or pay referral fees for the recruitment of students. Meredith Stone, Director of Admissions and Matthew Banes, Director of Boarding, are the primary contacts at Cranbrook School for enrolling overseas students at Cranbrook.
