Student Leadership

As a School, we foster global citizenship with an awareness of wider responsibilities and an understanding of difference. We want to instil a sense of service and responsibility to others.

In Year 6, all students are given leadership opportunities, crafted to reflect their particular skill set and interests. Through this experience, the students gain insight into what leadership entails and hone their own abilities to guide others through modelling, care and passion.

The Year 6 Leadership programme provides an avenue for the older students to explore what true leadership entails, whether they are event leaders welcoming guests to our School, organising the gardening group or K-Year 2 Games, acting as House Leaders at School Carnivals, Library Monitors, or Music Monitors supporting one of the many performances.

Our students in Years 2–6 also have the opportunity to join the Cranbrook Community Committee, led by a team of Year 6 students, who determine how Junior School students will participate in various charities, initiatives and events, so that our younger students can ‘give back’ to their community.
