Michele Marquet has worked at Cranbrook School for 26 years across many leadership positions, as a Senior Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Director of Early Learning and Director of School Pre-School to Year 6.
In her most recent role as the Head of Junior School, Michele has delivered exceptional standards of learning and excellence across the Junior School since 2017. Prior to joining Cranbrook Michele was at Meriden for five years and St Peter’s Anglican before that for the previous five years.
Embedding a love of learning is pivotal to Michele’s approach, as a passionate educator she advocates strongly for the ethos of a liberal education enabling students to focus on both depth and breadth of learning. With a strong focus on building skilled teaching teams and a culture of diversity and inclusivity across her staff and students. Michele’s leadership is renowned for creating an environment which is centred on warmth, excellence and consistency.
With an essential element of the Cranbrook approach being focused on teachers truly knowing your child, Cranbrook is a school that at its heart values the individual and pursuit of excellence which should and does look different for every child. It is personally rewarding to be part of a school that aims to foster an outward perspective, exploring how to prepare the future generation to engage and contribute positively to the wider world.
