When considering schools, parents need to look at the bigger picture rather than solely academic or sporting achievements. It is important to attend Open Days to really glean an understanding of the culture of the school. You can sense the atmosphere very quickly that way. Look the students in the eye; do they meet you? Trust your heart.

Our Open Days have been structured to provide flexible choices for busy parents. Each session will last approximately two hours and current student will accompany each and every tour. We invite you to share light refreshments with us at the conclusion of the tours to get to know more about School life and ask any questions you would like.

Please note that the Senior School campus is not a pram-friendly site.

If these times do not suit, interested parents are very welcome to contact the Director of Admissions to arrange a tour of the school separately. We very much hope you may want to visit us either on an Open Day or by individual appointment.

In addition to Open Days and visits, Cranbrook makes a determined effort to maintain personal contact with its wider community. We visit regional areas of NSW on a regular basis and Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok annually to keep in contact with the many local and Australian expatriate families in those centres.

The School also has a presence at three independent schools expos in Sydney each year:

• the Independent Schools Expo at Sydney University in March
• the Southern Suburbs Independent Schools Expo in October

Boarders

In addition to the above times, families of prospective boarders are invited to visit the School on other occasions, including weekends. Please telephone or email to arrange a visit.
