The Junior School campus was opened in 2012 and is an outstanding campus designed by renowned architect, Alec Tzannes. The facilities reflect the main eduational underpinnings of teaching and learning in the Junior School - Reggio Emilia philosophy and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. It is an inspiration to all who work and study there, and is flexible enough to meet changing educational needs, as well as being both spacious and robust; an ideal combination for active boys. The campus has been designed to:
inspire creativity, lateral thinking and problem solving in children and teachers
reflect and honour a child’s perspective of the world, in child-friendly scale
evoke and maintain a sense of magic, surprise, wonder and curiosity
invite light, vistas and the natural environment itself into the learning spaces
use colour, light and space well, to influence mood
engender a sense of peace and harmony, visually, texturally and aurally
be welcoming to families
