Cranbrook School’s mission is to encourage and enable all its students to explore, enjoy and fulfil their potential.
We offer a selection of scholarships that provide pathways for gifted and talented students to benefit from our world-class academic programmes, exceptional teaching staff, and extensive co-curricular and sporting opportunities. Recognising that talent and potential exist across all communities, some scholarships also provide financial assistance for students whose circumstances may otherwise limit their access to a Cranbrook education.
Through our scholarship programme, we seek to attract students of ability, character and promise who will contribute to the strength of our Cranbrook community.
Cranbrook School Scholarships – 2028 Entry
At Cranbrook, our scholarships recognise students who demonstrate exceptional achievement, talent and potential across academic, creative, sporting and co-curricular pursuits. Scholarships may provide full or partial remission of tuition fees.
Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7, 2028 and Year 11, 2028 only.
Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, intellectual curiosity and a genuine commitment to learning. Selection is based on scholarship examination results, portfolio submissions and interviews.
All Rounder Scholarships
All Rounder Scholarships recognise students who excel across multiple areas of school life including academics, sport, music, leadership, service, drama, art and co-curricular activities. Selection is based on examination results, portfolio assessment, demonstrated achievement and interview performance.
Music Scholarships
Music Scholarships are available for students who demonstrate exceptional musical talent, commitment and potential across instrumental and vocal disciplines. Applicants participate in the scholarship examination process, submit a performance video and portfolio and, if shortlisted, are invited to attend auditions and interviews.
Application Process
- Register Online through the scholarship application portal and review scholarship obligations and criteria.
- Submit supporting documentation including school reports, NAPLAN results, awards and relevant portfolios.
- Sit the Academic Assessment Services (AAS) Scholarship Examination.
- Attend auditions and interviews if shortlisted.
- Receive notification of outcome in early March 2027.

Cranbrook Foundation Scholarships – 2028 Entry
Recognising that talent and potential exist across all communities, our Cranbrook Foundation scholarships provide financial assistance for students whose circumstances may otherwise limit their access to a Cranbrook education.
Our Cranbrook Foundation Scholarships are closed for 2027 and will soon open for 2028.
