Cranbrook School offers subsidised private bus services to students in the mornings and afternoons during the School term.
Cranbrook’s before and after school bus services are operated by North Sydney Bus Charters, who are engaged on a contract arrangement to provide services to transport our students, and students from some other local schools, to and from school daily during term time.
There are three routes:
- North Shore: Cranbrook School to Seaforth via North Sydney, Cremorne and Mosman
- Inner West: Cranbrook School to Woolwich via Pyrmont, Annandale, Balmain and Drummoyne
- Eastern Suburbs: Cranbrook School to Maroubra via Bondi, Clovelly, Randwick and Coogee.
Should you wish your child to travel to and from school on a Cranbrook School bus, you must purchase a bus pass for your child in advance. For enquiries regarding operation of the bus service, including cost, route, ticketing and timetable, please email bus@cranbrook.nsw.edu.au.

Currently the minimum purchase is for a Semester’s worth of trips. There is no option to purchase trips for a shorter period e.g. you cannot purchase just trips for just one week or one day. The only exception is the Junior School to AFC bus. Passes for this service are paid per term and for a select day each week.
Bus passes are currently sold as a package that covers both morning and afternoon trips. There is no option to purchase only morning or only afternoon trips.

No, the Cranbrook private charter buses are reserved for current Cranbrook students only.
