Message from the Cranbrook School Council

I am pleased to write today on behalf of Cranbrook School Council to announce that the School’s contract with our Headmaster, Nicholas Sampson, has been extended through to the end of 2026, to see in the commencement of coeducation.

Cranbrook School Council recognises Nicholas Sampson’s significant worldwide experience in leading coeducational schools, and we are delighted that his leadership here at Cranbrook will continue so that this experience can guide our School through this definitive time in its history.

An important part of Cranbrook’s vision is to be a global school of excellence, and we acknowledge the efforts of Nicholas Sampson and his team in establishing the School as one of Australia’s few IB Continuum Schools, as well as their focus on creating an environment of deep pastoral care that allows our students to flourish and excel across a diverse range of disciplines and interests.

Cranbrook School Council very much looks forward to working with Nicholas Sampson and his team in the best interests of Cranbrook’s students and its community, as the School moves through this exciting new phase.

Yours sincerely

Geoff Lovell
President, Cranbrook School Council
