Cranbrook has a proud tradition of rowing and is the only CAS school that has a competitive rowing program. The School rows in summer out of the sheds at Rose Bay and the St George Rowing Club at Arncliffe. Senior boys are transported to and from Cranbrook to row on the Cooks river from the St George Rowing Club site. Crews compete in Term 1 in a range of regattas in NSW and Victoria, GPS Invitation Regattas, the ISRA Regatta, the Riverview Gold Cup and, at the Director of Rowing's discretion, the Australian National Championships.. Coaching is provided by the Director of Rowing and external coaches which include former Old Boys as well as school, State, national and international qualified coaches. The Head Rowing Coach is Mr Sam Carroll who coaches the 1st VIII exclusively and oversees the rowing coaching staff.
