Cricket is a summer sport. Cranbrook has twenty turf practise wickets on Hordern Oval, three synthetic practise wickets at Dangar, three synthetic playing wickets and three turf playing wickets. Coaching expertise is provided by staff members and external coaches are employed to enhance mid-week training. These coaches are predominately involved in grade cricket at Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club and South Sydney District Cricket Club.
