The Senior School aims to provide a broad, liberal education that promotes the intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual growth of each of our students. A dedicated and experienced academic staff and pastoral team encourage and support our students to achieve their best and to strive for excellence at whatever level of study they may select. At Cranbrook your son will be encouraged to discover and develop his own strengths. Our academic and pastoral programs place emphasis on the importance of achieving one's personal best.
Cranbrook Senior School caters for day and boarding students in Years 7– 12 with a total enrolment of approximately 850 students including 98 boarders. Each year group consists of about 140 students. The size of the year groups makes it possible for Senior School students to be known individually by peers and staff alike.
The core structure of student care is the House system. Each student belongs to a House and his well-being is overseen by Housemasters and Tutors.
We offer a broad and diverse range of subjects to cater for the different needs and interests of your son throughout his years of schooling. Teaching and learning programs are designed to challenge boys and allow them to reach their potential. To assist the development of individual talents across a range of endeavours, Cranbrook offers an extensive range of co-curricular and sporting opportunities.
