Junior School students attend a chapel service once each fortnight which are led by the School Chaplain or Assistant School Chaplain. Chapel services feature age-appropriate songs, Bible readings and a message.
The School Chaplains also participate in the weekly Junior School assemblies. Religious Studies lessons take place in the classroom once a fortnight. The Religious program is based on the Christian faith but sensitivity to the range of religious backgrounds and traditions of students and their families is seen as being vital.
Many students attend a voluntary meeting at lunchtime on Wednesday, called GAS (God and Stuff). Led by the Chaplains and other staff, this is a time for a Christian development in the context of a message, games and fun activities.
The Chaplains consult with the teachers and the Head of the Junior School about religious and pastoral care matters relating to individual students.
