Tuition and boarding fees
Tuition and boarding fees are charged in advance in three equal instalments, at the beginning of Terms 1, 2 and 3 and are payable within 30 days of the issue of accounts. The fee account at the beginning of Term 4 will only include any the Information Technology levy and expenses incurred during Term 3. Overseas students pay a higher fee because the School receives no Government per capita grants for overseas students.
Extra Charges
Additional fees are payable for optional extra subject tuition such as instrument lessons, materials for Visual Arts, and Design and Technology, and also for activities such as excursions. Cranbrook in the Field, the outdoor education course, does not incur additional fees.
Payment of fees
- Fees are payable by cheque, credit card or BPAY.
- Parents wishing to pay the full year's tuition fee at the time of the first instalment will receive a 1.5% discount.
- Fees not paid by the due date, and where no other agreement has been reached with the School, will incur an additional fee of 10%. In addition to the late payment fee a student may not be allowed to return to School until all fees have been paid.
Registration fees
All application forms must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $300.
Enrolment fees
An enrolment fee is payable when a definite place is offered and accepted following an interview. This usually occurs up to twelve months before the date of entry for Kindergarten and up to two years and six months before the intakes for Year 3 and Year 7.
| Pre-schools | A deposit of $1,000 is payable for pre-school. It is refundable when the child leaves the pre-school. |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten to Year 12 | A non-refundable fee of $5,700 is payable on acceptance of a place. |
