Congratulations the class of 2012 on their successful HSC results. Particular praise must go to the boys on the Premier’s list for outstanding, all round achievement and those gaining places in the State’s Board of Studies Top Achievers List for English, Mathematics and Legal Studies.

Premier’s HSC All Rounders List

To be eligible for the Premier’s HSC All Rounders List students are required to achieve 90 per cent or more in at least 10 HSC units. We are delighted to announce that seven students achieved a place on this prestigious list.

Distinguished Achievers

Students must score at 90 per cent or above in a subject to be on the Distinguished Achievers List. Cranbrook students gained 140 of these merit listings in total, including 16 in English and 43 in Mathematics, with 72 students being placed on the Distinguished Achievers List in at least one subject.

The subjects which contributed significantly to the merits this year were Drama, Mathematics, Legal Studies, Languages (French and Latin) and Music Extension.

Of particular note were this year’s students who undertook the more challenging courses with at least 90% of these students in English Extensions 1 and 2, Mathematics Extension 1, Music Extension and French, Japanese and Latin Extensions, achieving results in the top two bands.
