Since the School’s foundation in 1918 as an independent boys’ school in the Anglican tradition, our goal has remained the same: to nurture the growth of individual boys from childhood to adulthood. The Cranbrook curriculum, from pre-school to Year 12, balances self-discovery, teacher directed instruction and responsibility for independent learning. The curriculum is rigorous, encouraging thoughtful academic enquiry and intellectual agility. The school has built a highly supportive pastoral care structure to ensure boys are known well and gain in confidence and self worth. The essence of Cranbrook is that we care passionately about the worth and development of each individual.
